Smart Strip PRO Finish Remover

Smart Strip PRO is a versatile finish remover that effectively removes 2-component, high-performance coatings and lead paint. It is formulated without methylene chloride, is non-carcinogenic, non-caustic, and non-flammable. This water-based finish remover will effectively remove multiple coats of oil-based, water-based, stains, acrylics, varnishes, epoxies, urethanes, elastomeric and lead paint from most interior or exterior surfaces.   

Smart Strip PRO delivers the superior performance that professionals need when removing even the most difficult coatings. This product is user-friendly, biodegradable, low odor, low VOC, and does not require neutralization.

Limitations: Not recommended for use on glass, plastics, vinyl, most fiberglass, Plexiglas, drywall, polished limestone, marble, granite, composite decking, EIFS, MDF, OSB, some laminates, veneers and rubber.

Test patch: Before applying to the entire substrate, always apply to a small inconspicuous test area on each type of substrate and coating prior to full application to ensure product effectiveness.

Application Guide:

Application temperature:          50° F to 90° F for best results (do not use below 35° F)

Application method:                   Safety equipment, trowel, brush, roller, or airless sprayer

Surface preparation:                   Clean, dry and dull

                                                         Protect and cover areas not designated to be stripped where overspray and rinse water may travel

Special instructions:                    Apply from bottom-up; rinse from top-down

                                                         One to two applications, depending on severity

                                                         Rinse surface thoroughly after finish is removed
